I’ve seen these things before: some kind of listing of personal information about people who write the magazines I read. I usually skip such articles. So why, for goodness sake, did I collect the following set of personal bios of the CABA board? Well, CABA, and this newsletter, are not supposed to be run by a bunch of people that the members never get to talk to.

We’re a fairly small organisation that supports individual people like yourself who brew beer. Strange then, isn’t it, that those services that most directly provide individual brewing support (the brew doctor, and brew buddy programs — both free!) are completely unused by our membership? This got me thinking that maybe showing the faces behind CABA would encourage more of you to actively get involved in CABA activities. Maybe if there’s something you’d like changed, you will feel more comfortable telling us what’s on your mind.

If you live far away from where we stage our big events, you might try contacting your regional representative, or volunteering yourself where you see a vacancy. In any event, the next time you see one of us at an event, please come by and talk to us. We’re here to help you.
